Working with the Discovery Team, we created a conceptual web app tool, HireTalent, that would help internal recruiters hire the best talent by ranking recruits based on skill, personality tests, and team fit.

The big opportunity with this project was rethinking the recruiting and hiring process. We asked ourselves, what if we could harness the power of big data analytics and human insight to empower our recruiters to bring in the best talent? We worked with data scientists to create a conceptual tool that would help our recruiters in the process by ranking recruits based on skill, personality tests, and team fit taking into characteristics such as:
People want transparency in the hiring process
Recruiters want to find the latest jobs and candidates they don’t know about (opportunities and soon to be open positions)
Hiring to be a good fit with the team is often more important than hiring the most qualified candidate
Inefficiency - Interview process often takes too long and the ideal candidate takes another job in meantime
